Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet JULIETTE, a very, very sweet, precocious 9 month old white & sable Japanese Chin.
"Julie" was purchased from a pet store for someone who did not have time for her and left crated most of the day - hence, ended up in rescue.
She is mostly potty trained, and hopefully will be fully trained when you adopt her! She gets along very well with other pets, large and small. Shows no fear. Actually, Julie would do very well in a home with another pet or more, as she loves to play. Tug of war, and keep away, with a toy seems to be her amusement of choice. Tag, inside the house and out in the yard, are also high up on her list !
She is learning to walk on a lead, and ride in the car. Loud noises frighten her, but as she is exposed to the world, she will do fine. She LOVES everyone !
Once Julie is spayed (mid-December), she will be available for adoption. Her asking adoption fee is $400, which does not begin to cover our costs in many rescue dogs. If you can make an additional donation or contribution, we would appreciate it greatly. Your contributions are totally tax deductible, as ECADR is a fully sanctioned non profit rescue group. Juliette is being fostered in Egg Harbor Twsp., NJ. Let's have this puppy home for the holidays!
NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
