B.O.B's Story...
Our B.o.B is a handsome 2 year old male who was rescued from an Alabama kill shelter and is now in foster care in Charleston,SC. B.o.B. is very playful, loving and wants to be a lap dog. He weighs about 55 lbs. He loves to run and play with the neighborhood kids and the other dog in his foster home. He enjoys going to the grounds of the local hunt club so he can sniff and run. He would be fine with cats and small dogs if instructed on his boundaries; he is very smart. He is housebroken and cratetrained and is learning his basic commands (sit, stay, out and come). He is very comical and bays when he plays and when he hears his food bowl come out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

B.O.B, a Dallas Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
