**********

Kylee is a young female Pit Bull (born July 25, 2011) who entered rescue when her first owner was trying to surrender her to the local animal control at about 5 weeks of age. She was all skin and bones, but playful and active in spite of it! She absolutely adores people, and wiggles her whole body. She has been well socialized and gets along with dogs and cats; she will be gentle with the little dogs, but loved to play rough-and-tumble with the big dogs. Her absolute favorite toy is an empty water bottle!

We are in the process of finishing her house and crate training, but she is very smart and is already letting us know when she needs to go outside.

She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, micro-chipped, and with a lifetime of support through rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kylee, a Virginia Beach Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
