Belle's Story...
Belle is a precious little 6 year old Shih Tzu surrendered by her owner. She is a very quiet, loving little girl that weighs 10 lbs, has been spayed, is heartworm negative and UTD on shots. She does great with the other dogs in her foster home and loves caring, responsible children. Belle was a little nervous coming into a new place but has settled in and is making herself right at home. She has done very well with her housetraining, is crate trained and leash trained. She will make a wonderful addition to someone's family. She has an unusual underbite which only makes her that much cuter and will turn her head to one side to observe what's going on. For more information on Belle, email scollins45@yahoo.com Adoption application and fee required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Hillsville Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Hillsville, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Hillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
