Delilah's Story...
Delilah is a delightful medium sized ACD who is estimated to be 1 yr. and 2 mths. old. She weighs about 35 lbs.She was saved on Wednesday before Thanksgiving from Miami Dade Animal Services and that was the day she was to be killed. Many animals are killed in shelters before Holidays sadly. Delilah was picked up as a stray but she once was loved and cared for. She is completely housebroken and she has manners. She loves everyone and greets people with a smile and a little happy dance! She enjoys all the dogs at her fosters home and loves to play. She will soon be evaluated for Performance Sports. She would be a good fit for most any home that can provide her with a fenced yard and plenty of activity. Children would be fine as well as she does not jump on people! Good girl! She is dappled white with a split face and one black spot. What a beautiful girl! Please research the breed and if you feel you can provide Delilah with a wonderful forever home, please email or call! Our hope is for Delilah to be home for Christmas!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a Nokomis Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Nokomis, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Nokomis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nokomis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nokomis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nokomis paves the way for another one to be saved.
