This little girl with a big smile is Lassie. Lassie found herself alone and scared in a kill shelter - we rescued her the last moment. Lassie is a true little lady and her tail always wags, even when she is just going for a walk. Lassie loves attention, affection and snuggling, she is a true little lap dog. She does well with other dogs, but she also tells them off when they get too pushy and nosy. Lassie is housebroken and overall a very good little girl. She weighs around 15lbs and still has some to lose. She loves going for walks, mealtime (she needs to lose some weight right now), and sitting in the lap of her people. She would do well in an adult home or in a home with older children who know how to handle a small dog gently. Lassie is looking for her very own forever family to love and spoil.
Lassie can only go to a family with children who are old enough to treat her gently. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application.
We do not have a shelter location, our dogs live in volunteer foster homes and can be met by appointment. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer our little lady Lassie a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
