Our Sam I Am is a very "houndsome" 2 year old male that was picked up as a stray, wearing a collar that read "If found, please give me a good home" He quickly endeared himself to the shelter employees with his smart and loving ways. They knew he was something special so they worked extra hard to get him into Rescue. His Georgia foster parents were quickly impressed with this guy because he knows how to behave nicely in the good life and has known love in the past, and is so willing to give it now, too. He is at a healthy weight of 60 lbs, sports a nice healthy coat, clear ears, well trimmed nails, clean teeth. He is a very nice car companion and good on lead. He doesn't jump up on people and seems to enjoy his house time thoroughly while displaying nice manners. Very tolerant of his baths and ear cleanings and will run around to show off how good he looks afterward. Sam doesn't bark too often; he usually reserves that for welcoming his foster parents home or when he hears the food bowl clanking. He blended into the pack of labs and coonies at his foster home easily, with his non-aggressive personality - it doesn't matter if they are male, female, young or old. He has the energy and respect to play appropriately with each of them. Neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative, UTD on all shots, micro chipped - just one awesome dog waiting for you! "If you give him a treat....give him a home - He will be yours, all yours alone!"
