Hi there my name is Peshie,
My story goes like this, I was rescued off of death row at the dog pound in Newton County. I do not know what I did wrong and why I ended up there but I am glad the nice people at Altered Feral State saved my life and took me to the shelter.
I had some issue's at first as I was scared, and the people here think I was abused, hit in the head or face because if they reached for my head I would swing at them. Now everyone just strokes my back and all is fine.
I really need someone who is not pushy and who understands cats.
I also like to help you eat your sandwich's and I try to help with dinner too!
I really am a good girl, and I like to follow the shelter people around, won't you please consider adopting me, give me a chance to love you and you love me.

You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.
None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how handsome I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.
At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
