UPDATE:
It turns out these two boys did have names from their previous family, Daddy's name is Hammer and Fatty's name is Vito.
They arrived at their foster home on Saturday and have proven to be very loving and devoted little boys. After only a day they follow their foster family around the house, come whenever called and are always ready to snuggle. They are well behaved in the house; calm, housebroken and not destructive. They get along well with our 2 female dogs and have been gentle with the children they have met. They walk well on leashes and equally enjoy a romp in the backyard. We can see why the shelter coordinators fell for them so quickly.
Daddy (Hammer) is 2 years old and in between a mini and a standard Dachshund weighing in at 13 pounds. Fatty (Vito) is a 1 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix weighing in at 18 pounds (and could certainly stand to loose a few pounds). They are both up to date on shots and neutered.
So far, these two boys seem to be very devoted to each other. They enjoy wrestling together, share the same dog bed and eat out of the same bowl. At this point, given their attachment we would like to find them a home together.

This father and son dynamic duo will definitely get better names once they arrive at their foster home this Saturday, but until then, say hello to "The Daddy" and "The Fatty" as they have been coined at the shelter.
These two sweet boys found themselves in a shelter that was short on space and they were so darn fantastic that the rescue coordinators decided to keep them in their office to keep them safe until they could find placement.
We don't know too much about these boys yet except that they LOVE everyone and everything and EVERYONE loves them. The Daddy is the Dachshund, a young father at a mere 2 years old and the Fatty is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix just 1 year old.
