Hi! My name is Talcum, Talc for short. My first family gave me that name because my fur is soft like powder and has a pleasant, sandy color. I am a little bit confused about why they could not take me with them when they had to move…something about an eviction notice, whatever that is. I am a happy-go-lucky guy and like it just fine here at Cedar Farm while I am waiting for my real forever family to adopt me. I would like to find a family that will make me a part of their everyday lives. I really, really love to be with humans and am always watching them and trying to learn. I am a smart boy and bet you can teach me lots of new things. I like other dogs too and cats don’t bother me one bit. I think they kinda like me actually. They like to rub up next to me when we go on our walks here at the farm. Oh, and I do really good on that leash thing and ride really good in the car…so see, you can take me pretty much wherever you go! I do love to make new friends. Ok, so here’s the deal…to meet me you need to fill out the Cedar Farm adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call (336) 251-8877 to be sure it has been received and talk about me on the phone. You can set up a time to meet me then. And I’d better give you all of my statistics too. Here goes….I am three years old and weigh 19 lbs. I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots.
