Darla - Pending's Story...
Darla is a 6 month old puppy as of 12/1. We aren't sure what she is, but we know she has some Beagle in her. She is taller than a Beagle should be and she doesn't have a full Beagle body. I do have more pictures of her that help to show her size. People have mentioned she may have Pointer or Lab mixed in, but even the vet can't decide what she is besides adorable!

She does have lots and lots of energy and would need someone that wants to take her on walks and play games with her. She's also very smart and would be fairly easy to train once she is out of the shelter. She started climbing on the chain link of her run, so she would need a backyard either with a 6ft+ fence or stockade if she would be left unsupervised in the yard.

Come meet Darla soon!

Email for more pictures/information.

Upon adoption, she will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Act quickly to adopt Darla - Pending. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla - Pending, a Union Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Union, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
