Thor's Story...
This is Thor! He is a gorgeous 7 months old Rottweiler. We were told that he is purebred although we don't have papers to prove that. He was surrendered by his family to the local kill shelter because the older dog at the home did not like him. He is a young, strong puppy and he wants to play, play, play! He is doing well with his foster mom's other animals but he will need training, especially in house breaking. He is already working on that! He is reportedly a very sweet, friendly boy who just needs a family that will love him forever. If you think that might be you please contact us at jepartain@comcast.net. If you would like to set up a meet and greet please ask us to send you an application so we can get the process going. Thor has been micro chipped, neutered and vaccinated so he is ready to go when you are ready to pick him up! His adoption fee is $150 to help defray some of the cost of the surgery and vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Fresno Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Fresno, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
