My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sport is an 18 mo. old English Pointer who, with his sister were given a death sentence for "not hunting".

They were turned into a local kill shelter and they have now entered our rescue and are safe. We were told they are Elhew bred dogs, but they were turned in with no papers.

They have been kenneled for their entire lives so will have to be housebroken . They ride quietly in the car and relax in a crate.

Sport (the male) is the more outgoing of the two. Lucy is very shy, and has to be coaxed into doing most anything - walking on a leash, etc. Neither have any aggressive traits at all. You can pick them up, carry them, etc.

Both are HW negative, spayed/neutered, UTD on shots and just longing to be in a "real" home - one that loves and respects this wonderful breed. Sport weighs 40 pounds and could use a pound or two on his muscular frame.


They in foster care in E. TN and will be transported to their forever home via Alpha Dog Transport. They charge $125.00 for their services and is paid when you claim your dog. They also hand off all the dog's shot /vet records.
