My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ocho is an adorable, very loving, italian greyhound chihuahua mix. He has a shiny black & white sleek coat in a tuxedo pattern with a small white blaze on the back of his neck. Ocho battled a bad case of kennel cough for the first couple of months in foster care, but with medicine & care has returned back to full health. He was also very skinny when first rescued by tiny paws as an owner surrender, weighing only 6lbs. He is a healthy 9lbs now, full of love and life. Ocho loves his humans! He will sit by your side all day, loves to sleep in bed and will be your new best friend if you let him into your home and heart. He bonds very quickly to new owners and really is one of the most affectionate cuddly dogs you will ever meet. He is an active boy who loves to play with his toys and other dogs but will settle down and snuggle with you after he gets his exercise in. Ocho is quite agile and can jump over most small gates & can even climb a chain link fence! He does not enjoy being confined and will cry and try to escape to get back to his beloved humans. He would really do best with someone that is home often because of his need to be around people as much as possible. Ocho is doing well on his housbreaking & goes outside with frequent regular potty breaks. He is currently being fostered in the new milford connecticut area.
