Approx. 2yrs old..approx. 65lbs..This sweet girl was found tied to a ouside porch railing with a shoe string so tight around her neck, she was gasping for air. She is very sweet, friendly, great on leash, gd with dogs she met, NOT hyper, not a barker, not a puller or a jumper..She gets shy when you move your hand fast by her head but NEVER has shown aggression. She has no idea what toys are but LOVES walks.. (She IS pregnant) LEGAL DAY OF ADOPTION 12-13

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering a dog from City of Hartford Animal Shelter must first fill out an application. We are in the process of working to set up a link for an on line application, in the meantime please email us at ctshelterdogs@gmail.com and we will send you the application. Sherry the ACO, will be reviewing all of these applications prior to setting up appointments to meet the dogs. We are moving forward to establish a more thorough screening process to ensure these dogs end up in responsible homes.
