My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blanche is a beautiful purebred Golden girl who has spent the first 6 years ofher life producing beautiful Golden puppies. She's awfully glad to have that part of her life behind her, now she can concentrate on learning just exactly who Blanche is.

Blanche is fine with free roam of the house and since she's a lady of leisure now pretty much sleeps the day away while you are out and about. Blanche is house trained and already has learned how to maneuver the stairs in her foster home. The wood floors are still a bit of a challenge but she's tenacious! Blanche has also learned that treats are a pretty yummy addition to her daily diet. Blanche gets along okay with other dogs as long as they leave her alone in her sleeping area. "Who likes to be bothered when they are resting!"

Blanche is still learning about the big world out there and so she will need you to patiently show her that getting out and about is fun and exciting. Blanche will never be a crazy party girl; she's much too refined for that nonsense.

Blanche is looking for just the right family to spend her lazy days with. She will do best in a home without small children. Her dream would be to be an only dog in a home where someone is home alot to pay lots of attention to Blanche. She will return your love many times over!
