BUBBA's Info...
| Breed: | French Bulldog | Color: | White - With Black | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Male | ID#: | MARYLOU |
This is Bubba who just turned 4 years old on Sept 7th. He was given up due to a divorce and had to pay the price.
He would do best with a family that has French bulldog experience, and a fenced in yard. Like most bully dogs Bubba falls in love with one person and protects that person. He wasn’t take care of with his folds so he will go to bite when you try and clean out his folds. You will need to desensitizes him which will take time and patience, since it was never done as a puppy.
Poor Bubba did test positive for Lyme and was teated, but will need to be retested in a couple of months. .
Bubba would do best as an only dog and with an experience with French bulldog. You should be active as he enjoys going for walks to check things out.
Oh yeah, Bubba is a bed hog and loves to sleep in your bed as long as you are with him, otherwise he is right by your side why you would be the best family for him.

Rescue Group Info...
Rawhide Rescue was formed to serve the needs of homeless dogs by providing loving and expedient rescue, foster homes and placement with a great measure of compassion and through teamwork with you and other rescue groups and shelters.
Rawhide Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We'll be happy to provide you with a tax-receipt upon request so that you can deduct your donation to us.
Any financial support to help us care for our animals is very much appreciated and we also need dog food, crates of all sizes, beds and blankets for the pets in our care.
We do not have a shelter so we don't have visiting hours.
Please note that Rawhide Rescue does not run a physical shelter but uses a network of loving foster homes to house the animals awaiting adoption. To meet one of the animals that you find on the web, come to our adoption days (see the "events" page of our website) or send us an application at rawhiderescue@hotmail.com. Most of our adoption days are at PetSmart in Bridgewater, NJ or PetSmart in Watchung, NJ.
To adopt one of our animals, go to our website at www.rawhiderescue.org and download our Microsoft Word dog application, or use our "online application." We regret that we cannot respond to inquiries about a specific pet until we receive a completed application.
Adoption Fees:
Adoption fees are donations to Rawhide Rescue, not payment for value received, and are based primarily on the age, health, and temperament of a particular dog, and our expenses. Rawhide Rescue is not a shelter, and we are not subsidized. Most shelters receive municipal funding, while Rawhide Rescue operates on adoption fees and donations. All of our members are volunteers, and none of us receives a salary or payment of any kind. Our funds go 100% toward the care of our dogs, primarily for veterinary expenses and occasional boarding fees. Volunteers usually pay the costs for transport, fostering, phone calls, postage, and adoption screening out of their own pockets.
The adoption fees range from $150 to $200 for dogs ($275 - $400 for puppies and purebreds) which is a bargain when you consider that spaying/neutering, testing, training and inoculations are usually included. Any difference in fee is noted in the description of the individual pet. Many animals have been micro-chipped.
We hold our adoption days in Central New Jersey and welcome applicants from the entire state. Out of state residents may apply as well, however, we do not "ship" dogs.
