Marlin's Story...
Dont be afraid of black. Black is cool! Im a personable, affectionate boy wholl entertain you for hours. I love to play and I get along great with other cats. But please dont ask me why Im named after a big fish. Im nothing at all like a big, slimy fish Im a cute, furry little kitten. Maybe Im named after the Florida Marlins baseball team I do love to play ball. Oh well, take me home and you can give me whatever name you want to.

Marlin is around 3mths old. He is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. The adoption fee is $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlin, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
