Athena's Story...
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Athena and I'm a fun loving and playful 5 year old. I'm looking for a new forever home, so I hope when you look at my pictures you come in and fall in love with me. It's very easy to do - I promise! I'm a very loyal companion and I totally get along with everyone. Although I have short hair and hardly shed at all, I love to be brushed and take long naps on your lap. I would love for you to take me on long walks. Throw me a ball and I'll chase it and bring it back to you. We could have so much fun! I hope to see you very soon so we can start our new lives together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Athena, a Barron Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Barron, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Barron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barron paves the way for another one to be saved.
