Strauss von Steinbeck's Story...
Strauss von Steinbeck is a playful and energetic 18 month old German Shepherd. He is friendly to everyone he meets and gets excited whenever he makes a new human friend. Strauss will chase the tennis ball and his goofy side comes out when you bring out the toys. He would do best in an active home where he will get daily exercise. Strauss also needs a basic obedience course where he can learn leash manners and commands. He’s very smart and loves to have a job to do. Strauss is literally tapping his tail on the floor waiting for his special someone to hurry up and fill out an application for him so he can head home already!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Strauss von Steinbeck, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
