Scout's Story...
My name is Scout, I am a 4 yr old, Male, Collie/Shepard Mix! Despite my 85 lbs I believe I am a lap dog and love to cover you with my LOVE! I am a high energy dog and true to my breed combination, I need to be physically and mentally engaged. I love walks, maybe you are even a runner? Have you ever considered hiking, I would be a great companion! With my fur coat I am ready for some cold winter activities and playing in the snow! The biggest thing that you need to know about me is I am on the go, go, go! I know basic commands like: sit, stay down and high five, but will basically do anything for a Milk Bone! I am crate trained and potty trained. I will do well with most dogs and LOVE to chase cats so it is in their best interest that I DON’T live with them. I am looking to be part of a family that can keep up with my energy level, while still wanting a good boy to snuggle up next too! Let’s meet and see if we are a match!
I am neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Medford Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Medford, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
