Peanut's Story...
Peanut is a 2 month old, male, DSH Gray Oriental Tabby. He and his sister were abandoned outside of the County Shelter’s doors. They were sick and needed help. They were put with a nursing mom cat and on meds. Now they are healthy and ready for new homes! Peanut is very friendly and loves to explore new things. He just recently found his purr!! Peanut is a sweet little boy and likes to be petted and held. He loves to wrestle with his sister and chase jingly balls. After all that play, he loves to come and lay on your lap. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
