My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Comet is a happy, healthy pup who is full of personality! He has a beautiful golden coat and big brown eyes. He is 4.5 months old and about 25 lbs currently. Comet is a smart little guy who learned how to use a dog door in about two seconds. The police out at the Ft McDowell Indian Reservation seized Comet and his sister, Hailey, from their owner who left them outside chained to a tree all night with no shelter when it was freezing cold. Boy you can bet they were grateful to come to a home! They are both very sweet and snuggly. They love to give kisses and curl up beside you. Based on past history of what I know about the dog in the area, I estimate Comet will be 45-65 lbs when fully grown. The dogs on the Reservation come from many generations of mixed breeds. He likely has some shepherd and also some Labrador or golden retriever. He is good with other dogs and with children. He is crate-trained and doing well with house-training. Comet's adoption fee is $200 and that includes de-worming, neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination and series of DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Comet, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
