Widow Tweed's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Widow Tweed's Story...
This litter of puppies was found on a country road hiding in a hollowed out tree trunk huddling together to keep warm. They were foraging for any scrap of food they could find.

They have been cleaned up and are much happier receiving regular meals and in a warm place! Of course, they’d be even happier if they found a wonderful home for the holidays.

This litter includes Boomer, Tod, Widow Tweed, and Copper. Widow Tweed and Boomer are girls, Tod and Copper are boys. Please call us if you would like to meet them!

All of The Pet Doctor to the Rescue! adoptees come spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Call or email for more info or to schedule a time to come see one (or all!) of these little love bugs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Widow Tweed, a O'Fallon Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in O'Fallon, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in O'Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in O'Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a O'Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in O'Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
