Leon's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Leon's Story...
Leon is a beautiful male Ragdoll mix(possibly purebred) who was born about 6/2010. He is up to date on shots, neutered and tested negative for FeLV. Leon was caught in a feral cat trap by animal control. Leon was not feral at all and was taken into rescue. Since Leon was a fertile male fighting for the attention of the ladies he has tested postivie for FIV; for this reason he must be the only cat in a home. FIV cats require no extra care and live a normal life. He loves his ears rubbed and being brushed. Leon wants a home to call his own to know what it is like to have someone love you and take care of you. Can you fullfiul Leon's wish.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leon, a Baton Rouge Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
