Little Ricky's Story...
Ricky is a fantastic dog. He's about 10 years old and gentle with everybody that he meets & he's traveled the world too. When he was 2 years old, he had to have jaw surgery and some teeth removed, so one side of his jaw is shorter than the other, so his tongue hangs out ~ endearing! He runs & loves to have fun & is as spry and fast as if he was a puppy.

His family had to give him up as Little Ricky wasn't getting the love & attention he craved. Ideally, he'd love to be in someone's lap & be their number one.....and he'd even be fine with being number two. Little Ricky deserves the very best. Are you looking for a new best friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Ricky, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
