Sally's Story...
Sally and her five brothers and one sister (Alfie, Bernie, Stevie, Sweetie, Teddy, and Minnie) who are also posted on our Nature Network site here, were saved together with their mom on their final day at the city shelter by our wonderful sponsor.

Sally and her six siblings are mainly small Black Labrador Retriever and one fourth small bull terrier or Staffordshire terrier. Their mom weighs about 30 pounds. Sally and her little family have all had their first set of puppy shots, a complete set of de-worming treatments, and are healthy and happy puppies. Their spay/neuter has been paid for in advance. They are now 6-7 weeks old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a West Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
