Ash's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black & White Or Tuxedo | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
Ash is one of 4 kittens found living under a porch, thankfully ca-r-ma was able to trap and help these darlings before winter hit. The kittens are believed to be about 4-5 months old. Ash is a male cow spotted black and white with big curious eyes! They were all very shy and fearful of humans, never having any close contact until now. They are learning that it's safe to play, safe to purr and safe to knead their paws with love... they still have a bit further to go but will soon be available for adoption so please email us for more details. More info and pics to come.
Rescue Group Info...
ca-r-ma.org is an all volunteer registered charity. We have no paid employees and no support from any corporate sponsor, foundation or government agency. We depend entirely on donations and the fund raising efforts of our volunteers.
Our immediate goal is to humanely reduce the number of unwanted cats and kittens dying needless premature deaths and to place non-feral homeless cats and kittens in responsible homes. We accomplish this by operating TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs where colonies of stray, abandoned and feral cats exist under the care of a care giver. We also assist care givers in providing food, shelter and minor medical care for animals in their colonies. Our long-term goals include supporting education to change attitudes regarding the importance of spay/neutering and working with other animal rescue groups to bring about legislation for the benefit of all animals
Potential Adopters are asked to fill out our Adoption Application then if all is well, a meeting is arranged so you can meet the cat you are interested in.
There is an adoption donation to help cover the costs associated with vet visits, etc.
Fredericton, Oromocto and all outlying areas. Ca-r-ma also has chapters in many other parts of New Brunswick.
