Scrappy and Scuba Doo's Story...
THIS IS AN ASSISTED PLACEMENT! For more information or to adopt Scrappy & Scuba Doo, please contact Heather at 405-201-7400.

We found wandering around a dead end road in Newcastle after we were abandoned. We were SO hungry and thin. Some nice people took us in, but they say they can't keep us because they already have 5 dogs... BUT, they want to find us a good home. We're good with people and are so SWEET and LOVEABLE. We've also learned how to SIT, STAY and SHAKE HANDS (they say we're really, really smart!). We're already spayed and ready to go!

Can you please let us come to your home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy and Scuba Doo, a Newcastle German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
