Hope's Story...
Hope was an owner turn in at a shelter up in LA because they could no longer afford her. She did not like being caged up at all without her family and was very confused and scared. Hope is now living in a foster home with a Jack Russell whom she loves to play chase and tug-a-war with. She has met several dogs both big and small and gets a long great with all of them. She is shy at first with people, but once she gets to know you she will cuddle in your lap. Hope is one of the most feminine dogs you will ever meet. She prances instead of walks and is dainty and elegant. Any family who gets to have Hope as their own is extremely lucky!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Lake Forest Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Lake Forest, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
