Tabby's Story...
Tabby and her brother Loki were rescued from a gas station on a busy street where the kittens were getting killed in the parking lot. She loves her brother Loki very much. They have a very close bond, and it would be best if they could be adopted together. Tabby is a shy, quiet kitten but she does like to be held and cuddled. Once she gets to know you, she'll give you little kisses. Tabby seems most secure when her best friend and brother Loki is around. She is a very sweet girl, and she loves children and other pets. LOOKING FOR A FOSTER FOR THESE TWO TOGETHER.

About Our Rescue Group...
Catbout Colonies is a non profit organization that traps and neuters/spays homeless and abandoned cats in the Central Florida area to prevent further breeding. Unfortunately, we do find many baby and young kittens that cannot survive in their current outside living conditions. All the cats and kittens we rescue from the streets are given the medical and nutritional care necessary to ensure they are healthy and suitable for adoption. If you are looking to adopt or foster a cat or kitten in the Central Florida area, please contact us for details.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tabby, a Orlando Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
