Levi's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Levi's Story...
We found Levi standing in the middle of a highway where someone had dumped him. He didn't know which way to go and cars were swerving around him. We discovered after we got him home that he is almost completely deaf AND blind. In spite of that, he's a wonderful, affectionate dog. Levi (we call him that because he was found in Levanna, Ohio) has obviously been someone's pet. I wonder if the children have been told he "ran away." Levi walks nicely on leash once he trusts that you won't let him run into anything. He is in a kennel run right now, but he waits to be walked to relieve himself. Levi is not an old dog; we estimate him to be five years old. He will provide some caring person years of faithful companionship.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Ripley Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
