Mercy's Story...
Mercy came to S.C.A.R.S. along with her mom and 9 siblings when she was 2 days old. She was born in a high kill shelter. When Mercy was a few weeks old her & her siblings became very sick and 4 of her siblings didn't survive. But Mercy is a survivor! She is super sweet and very prim & proper! She is very smart and will sit on a dime when she thinks there is a treat involved (especially cheese!). She is a gorgeous reverse black brindle color and has a super cute turned up nose! She would love to have a family to play with! She is partially housetrained and gets along well with other dogs and cats.
Look at that face! How can you resist?
Mercy will be spayed prior to adoption and her adoption fee will be $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mercy, a Claypool American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Claypool, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Claypool.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Claypool already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Claypool breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Claypool paves the way for another one to be saved.
