My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baxter is a boy you just have to meet. Believe it or not, he's 9 years old! I know!!!! I couldn't believe it either. He's a precious, precious little guy - and hello? - he's reliably house trained! He's calm, affectionate and sweet. Baxter weighs 7 pounds and has a little heart on his left side. Apparently, a few years ago, Baxter had a seizure. He's been on phenobarbitol ever since. It's a very inexpensive medication. He get a half a pill twice a day and I've seen no seizure activity since he came into foster care but because he is on the medication, we are calling him a special needs dog. He and his brother came from a loving home and I have his vet records for his whole life. They were well taken care of. Consider meeting Baxter. You won't be sorry.

The adoption fee for Baxter is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
