My name is Toby. I am a 5 year old Black and White lab mix. My one wish is for a forever family, a place to call my home. My favorite toy is a tennis ball as long as someone is playing ball with me. I can jump really high in the air to catch it. My foster mom says that I am a very good listener. I am good with school age kids. I don't feel comfortable with really small kids like toddlers. I get along well with the dog and two cats who live at my foster home. I am a pretty quiet dog, I rarely bark. I know what sit and "go to bed" mean. I am learning the word stay. I do not potty in the house. My foster family knows now they can trust me to be left alone and not be destructive like some dogs. I don't like being crated I prefer a regular dog bed. I absolutely love riding in the car. I like walks but tend to pull because I'm always so happy to be on the go. I am working on getting my weight to where it should be. I'm not terribly overweight but the vet thinks I could stand to lose a few pounds. I tend to gobble my food very fast so I could use some help in learning to slow down when I eat. I am thankful for Lucky pup and how much they care for the dogs.
To apply to adopt Toby, please visit our web site
here to find out about our adoption process.
Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
Thank you for considering rescue!
