Lucy is a sweet and delightful lady! She is even-tempered -- not too mellow nor too energetic -- intelligent, and gentle. Lucy loves people and gets along with other dogs. She would make a terrific companion for someone who enjoys taking afternoon strolls and then relaxing on the couch. Lucy will be a faithful friend and constant source of love, support, and affection to the special person who decides to give her a forever home. Please call Maria to inquire: 786-205-6865.
Born Free Pet Shelter is a No Kill 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization that has been helping homeless dogs since 1980. Located on a beautiful 5-acre refuge in the Redlands of South Florida, Born Free rescues dogs in distress and offers them the chance to lead happy and healthy lives. We are currently responsible for over 160 dogs, ranging from puppies to seniors. With the help of generous donations and the tireless efforts of our volunteers, we provide the love and care that they deserve. Some of our dogs will live out their days at the shelter, but we have so many that would make wonderful companions if given the chance.
Come Meet Our Pets...
You can meet our adoptable dogs at any of these locations: Petco (1635 NW 107th Avenue) every Saturday 12pm - 3pm Petsmart (13621 S Dixie Hwy) every Sunday 11am - 3pm Petco (Miami Beach) 1st Saturday of every month
For adoptions, please send an email to email@example.com.
Our Adoption Process...
At the time of adoption it is essential that a fee be charged as it will be used to feed and maintain the animals that are housed at our shelter. The adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, microchip and sterilization. We do a home check prior to approving any adoption.
