Ernie's Story...
Looking for a one in a million dog? Here I am. You’ll never meet another Ernie. No matter where I go, I always have a big smile on my face and I have never met a stranger. I was rescued from the West Memphis Animal Shelter and now I am waiting for a new family to call my own. I am about 18 months old, 50 pounds, neutered, heartworm negative, and current on my vaccines. I love to meet new people, go for long walks, eat treats, chase birds, learn new things, and play with toys. I obedience trained, and I am just waiting to show you everything I know. I am looking for someone with an active lifestyle, a fenced in yard, and lots of time and love for me. I would make a very loyal companion for you and your family. Please make me your new best friend.

Did I happen to mention that I am an actor? On September 30, 2006, I auditioned for the role of Sandy in Annie at the Desoto Family Theater..and you guessed it... I was one of two lucky dogs to play the part. I was on stage for 16 productions in December of 2006 and boy was I a star!!! Being surrounded by the bustle of backstage and getting so much attention from kids and adults was a dream come true for me. How many dogs do you know that can act in front of a live audience? I even have a DVD of my performance that I would love to show you.

The one thing that I still don't have is a family of my own. Can you help me make that dream come true?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ernie, a Olive Branch Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Olive Branch, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Olive Branch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olive Branch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olive Branch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olive Branch paves the way for another one to be saved.
