My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skeeter and his little brother were dropped off at the shelter. We don't know anything about their parents. Skeeter's brother looked very much like a Dachshund. Skeeter has the same black & tan markings his brother had but he is a bit taller. His brother found his forever home within minutes of being at the shelter. Skeeter is hoping to find a good home of his own in time for Christmas. Since he still young, Skeeter should easily acclimate to any loving home. If you are interested in adopting Skeeter, you can visit him at the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter located at 3265 Curve Nankipoo Rd in Ripley, Tennessee. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-2pm. (Closed Noon-1pm for lunch.) We are also open 8am-Noon on Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Our phone number is (731) 836-7387. New animals arrive daily so please come visit if you don't see what you are looking for on our website. If you are a rescue group or out-of-state adopter interested in our animals, please e-mail us as helplcas@gmail.com.
