To pursue the adoption of Shadow, who is located in Charlotte, NC, you must first complete an Adoption Application which is located under the Online Forms tab at www.NCYorkieRescue.org.
We get a lot of rescues named Shadow, so this precious little guy is Shadow in Charlotte! We, the foster family, live in Charlotte, and we are enjoying our sweet, darling Shadow. He was surrendered by his owner because she wanted him to have a family to cherish him and spend more devoted time with him than she could give. He is a 6 pound, 6 year old, neutered male who adores having human attention and love. He is current on his shots and had a dental cleaning. He spends his days in our lap or outside exploring in our fenced yard. At night he sleeps in our bed with 5 other Yorkies and 2 Golden Retrievers. One big, happy group!
As with all of our rescues, Shadow needs a structurally fenced yard, an adult home the majority of the day, and children older than 8. He must be allowed to sleep on the bed and furniture as this is what he is used to. It would not be fair to Shadow to deny him the pleasures to which he has become accustomed.
Shadow is so cute and cuddly and is ready to give unconditional love to his Forever Family! Adoption fee and donation does apply.
We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit rescue group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
