My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's June in December! This sweet little girl will win you over with her cuddles, kisses and loving personality. She loves people, is happy being held and is very friendly around the two adult dogs in her foster home. Found as a stray, June is very curious about everything in the house but does not touch or chew anything but her puppy toys. She has learned to climb the stairs, which is no small feat for a young puppy who weighed in at only 8 lbs at 11 weeks old. Given her brown sugar coloring and calm temperament, June appears to be a Golden/Lab mix. June is still learning to go down stairs but she has picked out her favorite spots in the house to visit, which includes anywhere upstairs so she can test her climbing skills and underneath the office desk so she can rest her head on her foster mom's feet.

June is very engaged, makes excellent eye contact, has learned to sit and "high-five" and is close to getting her potty training down. June sleeps well through the night in "her room," and doesn't make a peep, whine or bark until her foster family greets her in the morning. Sometimes timid around new objects and the leash, June needs a family who will approach her training with patience and kindness. She will return your love many times over! For more information, please take a look at www.goldenretrieverfreedom.org. Please review the adoption requirements before submitting an online application.
