Adoption Fees for dogs typically range from $75-$120. We reserve the right to deviate from the normal price range in special situations.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs and you have dogs of your own, we must conduct a meet and greet so that we all can see how the dogs get along and any future problems you might have. We must also meet all the people who will be living with the dog (unless special arrangements are made) so that we can prevent any situations leading the dogs return to the shelter.

Also, please tell us if you have cats so that we can test if the dog would get along with a cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Brooksville Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
