THIS IS LILI.....an 8 lb, charcoal/white, 7-8 yr old Poodle mix....who literally was dumped in the South LA Shelter right before Christmas because her family was moving . So sad to us that she would have to spend the holidays in the shelter, cold and alone, so we bailed her out. While we don't typically take Poodle's, one of our volunteers saw her adorable little face (before the shelter shaved her bald!) and we just couldn't leave her behind. Lili is a lap dog, who wants nothing more than to snuggle on your lap, give you kisses and play with her bones. She is not your typical "senior" by a long shot! Oh yeah...she also loves to jump up and down like a pogo stick....she has a ton of energy for a "mature" little one...and we suspect that she has at least another 10 years to go! Poodles live long lives! She seems to be potty trained, as long as she is taken out on a schedule and is taken out regularly. She LOVES car rides and LOVES to go on walks....but sometimes, she will bark at other dogs to let them know it's her sidewalk! Lili has a sweet personality but she will let you know if she doesn't want to do something you want her to do! She could use a little training in that regard! She is great with dogs and cats...but doesn't need either to make her happy...all she needs is YOU! She would be best in a mature home, without kids, with or without other dogs, who will love her to life and dote on her. Might that be with you?
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

First Sunday of the month, we hold our adoption events at The Healthy Spot West Hollywood (8525 Santa Moinca Blvd, West Hollywood, 90069) from 11am-3pm. Most every other Sunday, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 10:30a-3pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
