Percy's Story...
Percy, (DOB 05/26/11 & 115 lbs) was taken in on an illegal breeding citation. He was the runt of the litter and soon we found out he had a congenital eye condition. We were able to raise the money to have his eye condition fixed and this sweet guy is ready for adoption! He loves belly rubs and loves to be with people! He has to be an only pig due to the delicacy of his eye and cannot afford to be hit in his eye. He will be more than fulfilling as an only pig as he loves to "hog" all the attention anyway! Vegaspigpets is a 501(c)3 federal non-profit organization with a network of volunteers supporting the health and welfare of all pigpets, large and small. We provide free education as to the specialized needs of potbelly pigs and provide free support to all current and prospective pig owners to assure the best quality of life for our pigpets! We also rescue and place unwanted, abandoned & abused pigpets in need of a new, permanent, loving home.
