Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note that puppies need to relieve themselves every 2-4 hours until they are at least 6 months old. A 3-month-old puppy will need to go out every 4 hours. Housebreaking can take at least 6 months, with a daily time commitment of every 2-4 hours.
We will be looking for adopters whose schedules can easily accommodate a puppy's needs. Those applicants who also have prior large dog experience will be considered first..
Tia Marie was dumped in a box along with her sisters at a school. She was lucky that animal control found them and got them into their foster home. Tia Marie is named for the famous pitbull rescuer. She definitely has spunk like her namesake. She is outgoing and has a strong mind. She loves to give kisses and most of the time will come when called. She is completely crate trained up to 3 hours during the day with a regular schedule all day long and can sleep 6 hours overnight without an accident. Keeping her on a schedule will insure that she continues to be crate trained and will help with her housebreaking skills. She will be ready for adoption after January 19th once she has finished her vaccinations and has been spayed and microchipped.
To start the adoption process, email us at happilyeverafter4dogs@yahoo.com requesting an application. This does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs.
All of our dogs are required to be inside pets only. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, home visit, and 5 day sleepover.
