Tucker's Story...
Have You Ever Seen Such A Cute Face?

Tucker loves to be close by your side and give lots of kisses! He's got tons of personality and loves to run and play! This little guy has had some near death experiences...His time was up at a local kill shelter when a family adopted him. They completed the application and paid his adoption fee, but after his neuter surgery, they never came to claim him!!! How in the world could they do such a thing to this cute little guy? What they did, put tucker at risk of being immediately euthanized! Thankfully, a shelter volunteer rescued him and he's currently in foster care hoping for a forever home soon. Tucker is a lot of fun to be around. He gets along well with other dogs. He'd prefer to sleep with or very near you. He would be good in a family with adults or older children. His foster family is not sure about very young children, because he has not had the opportunity to spend time with them. He is micro-chipped and up to date on his vacinations and ready to go to his forever home. His adoption fee is $100.

For more information or to schedule a home visit with Tucker, please call his foster family 706-867-6636 or 706-892-8766

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Tallahassee Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
