Lexie's Story...
Lexie is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She weighs 10 lbs and is an adorable snuggle bug!! Lexie just came in today (12-26-2011) because of landlord issues with her previous owner. Originally she came from the Hardin County Shelter. We have 10 other dogs in the house and so far she's doing great, was a little timid at first (and who wouldn't be!) We're pretty sure she's housebroken, so far no accidents. Lexie's learning how to use the doggie doors to go outside.
Lexie is up to date on all vacs, micro chipped, heart worm tested negative and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150.00.
Call (270)536-3077 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Irvington Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Irvington, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Irvington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvington paves the way for another one to be saved.
