Holly's Story...
Here's Holly! This sweet golden mix is looking for her FORever home. She was dumped and picked up by one of our kind hearted volunteers. Holly is about 2-3 years old, she's spayed, up to date on all her shots, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. She's all ready to go - just needs the right family!
Holly doesn't really care much about other dogs and likes to chase cats. She kinda likes to be the only fur-kid in the house. This sweet girl is a compact size - short, but a little overweight. Holly is pretty low-maintenance and just a loveable girl. Be sure to check out her cute video!!!

If you can make room in your heart and home for Holly this holiday season and for always, please email us at info@forrescue.net for an application today!!! Holly is being fostered in Arab, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Hamburg Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
