For such a teeny little guy, Frosty has had to endure and overcome so much. Before he came to RESCUE, he was found as a stray on the streets of Glendale and had to be treated for an abscess on his leg. Safe with RESCUE, Frosty's abscess healed but then he came down with a kitty cold that made him feel downright miserable! So what a joy it is now, to see Frosty healthy and whole, beginning to enjoy himself and becoming the carefree little guy he was always meant to be!
Frosty is an incredibly sweet and loving little boy! When you pick him up and hold him close to you, Frosty will close his eyes, and go limp; thoroughly enjoying the head and chin scratches you give him! It is easy to tell by the content look of his face and the steady purr vibrating through him how happy he is! He is also a fan of lap time and well, I guess to be honest; he's a fan of anything that involves you giving him love and affection. Frosty really seems to just enjoy being with his people.
Frosty is one incredibly playful little boy! He loves chasing wand toys, even hurdling one of his kitty roommates several times while he was pursuing that wand toy! Once he captures the wand toy, Frosty proudly carries it around in his mouth until you are able to retrieve it and start the fun all over again! Frosty enjoys playing with mice and really loves chasing balls! Roll a ball across the floor and Frosty zooms past you to get it. Toss the ball on the upper ledges of a condo and watch Frosty climb that condo (and sometimes dangle from that condo!) as quickly as he can to retrieve his prize! As with the wand toy, Frosty will proudly carry around the ball after capture until he drops it for you to start the fun all over again!
Frosty does well with other friendly kitties and likes to engage them in play. Frosty will do great in a variety of homes. We're so excited to see what the next chapter of Frosty's life will have in store for him.
