My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso is a precious, tiny, long haired chihuahua. At approximately 3 years old, Calypso is very thin and bashful. She suffered in a cold, hard kennel at the shelter for three months waiting to be released for adoption. Her current weight is well under 4 pounds. (12/28/11)

Now in a foster home, recovering from spay surgery and getting acquainted with her four legged foster siblings, Calypso is starting to remember what life in a home with love is like. She enjoys curling up in a warm lap and soaking up affection.

All dogs listed by Promised Land Dog Fosters have been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm tested.

Because we work with several rescue organizations, adoption fees will be individual to each dog but will average $125.
