Jake's Story...
Our organization believes in naturally rearing all animals. That includes a species appropriate diet, minimal vaccines and no use of chemicals such as flea/tick products and no chemicals used in the yard.

Jake is around 6 years old and loves to play outside with other dogs and loves to play fetch. He sleeps in the bed, usually on his back with his legs sticking straight up in the air. He is a little overweight and could use an active family that would include him in their lives.

If you are a natural rearing household and would like to learn more about Jake, please email urbanwolfrescue@sbcglobal.net to receive an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Maple Park Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Maple Park, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Maple Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
